OH NO! Two to look after at the one time. Poor kids (and parents). What kind of flips do cheerleaders do? We don't have them at high school here - although we have cheerleaders for our professional sports teams.
I know! I'm running out of ice!
She was doing a round off into a back handspring. Her arms slipped out from under her, and she landed on her face. Bloody nose and all the good stuff.
The high school teams and even the junior high squads in the US do a lot of tumbling. If you can't tumble by the time you reach high school, you pretty much can't get on the squad. Crazy, huh?
They usually do the round off back handsprings sometimes ending with a back tuck. Baby girl has almost got that one down :)
Oh my god - I think I would have been the little fat kid sitting in a corner watching all the cheerleaders do their thing. Good job she is athletic (plus other qualities required on the looks front). At least I guess its keeping kids fit though.
