Tonight was my baby girl's 8th grade graduation. I think I'll go cry my eyes out now :(

Seriously, don't blink. It's gone before you know it. The little baby you're holding in your arms right now will be this one sooner than you can imagine. She's my heart!!!!

Oh, I know how you feel. But what a beautiful young woman you have raised there. Have a good cry because sometimes we need it - where did all those years go? I started young grant you but my baby is 25 - I had her way younger than that and I could be a grandmother well and truly by now. That freaks me out! She is a career girl though and doesnt plan on settling down for a long time - now she is going overseas to work. Funny how our children's lives can end up far different from our own too (as it should be). I have a theory that we are born with personalities and destinies regardless of our upbringing sometimes. You have everything to be proud of looking at that photo. Celebrate!!!
Your daughter is lovely. How proud you must be, and yes, how awfully fast they grow up.
Ugh, I don't even want to think about that right now especially since my son will be 3 in August and my daughter will be 1 next month! :O Where does time go?!?
