What a way to lose the blahs! I had two spectacular days in a row. Today was spent at First Monday Trade Days in Canton, Texas. Bow down to the funnel cake. Love 'em! I'm going to be running around the pasture tomorrow working that off, but I really don't care. WORTH IT! If you've never been, you seriously don't know what you're missing. I could wander around that place forever if my feet would allow it. My dogs are barking for sure. The junk and treasures to be found and the FOOD. Something for everyone. There's even a place called DogTown for the animal lovers. Me...I'm checking out the linens, candles and antiques. And the plants, and the jewelry. My hubby he goes for the sunglasses, hats, knives, and guns. It's heaven on earth for the guys, too. We got a smokin' deal on a new saddle pad for our Rowdy. Woo Hoo :) Did I mention the frozen cappuccinos or turkey legs? I can't wait 'til next month!
My only warning....watch out for the crazy cart people. I got my toe run over today....

Flea markets and funnel cakes....what an awesome day!
OMG funnel cakes??? I love them. Glad i'm not there. I could eat my weight in them. I could go for a turkey leg too!!
I love flea markets. Our flea market doesn't have the good food. But we have the annual shrimp festival, and it has tons of great food, from Shrimp and other seafood cooked any kind of way, to turkey legs, funnel cakes, apple dumplings (the single best thing EVER) and porch creek Indian corn on the cob (they roast these giant ears, slather them in butter and salt, and give them to you on a stick.
This diet ain't workin' out so well today:(
BTW, want to trade blog links?
mine is http://www.sonyareads.blogspot.com
Sounds like you all had a great day! I love funnel cake, too. Me and my friend Tonya hit our piddly little town carnival every summer and pig out on it until we are sick. We have several places around here we like to go to look at junk, but probably nothing like Texas.
